Scholarships

• Dean’s Scholarship: The Dean’s Scholarship is one of NYU Stern’s most prestigious scholarships. Meritorious admitted students occasionally receive this award, which covers their full tuition fees.

• Consortium Fellowship at NYU Stern: The Consortium Fellowship covers full tuition for U.S. citizens and permanent residents, aiming to increase someone’s success in business. Eligible applicants must undergo consideration via the Consortium application process for underrepresented groups. 

• Leadership Accelerator Scholarship: The Leadership Accelerator program offers applicants with exceptional leadership potential a substantial merit-based scholarship. Upon admission, the scholarship facilitates their growth by allowing them to reflect deeply on their daily actions.

• Fertitta Veterans MBA Scholarship: The Fertitta Veterans MBA Scholarship offers merit-based aid, drastically reducing tuition for military veterans annually to $30,000. Lorenzo and Frank J. Fertitta financially support the program, which features leadership courses, corporate visits, and an expanded Yellow Ribbon Program that offers a sizable living stipend.

• William R. Berkley Scholarship: NYU Stern exceptionally supports outstanding seniors pursuing a full-time MBA Program. Admitted students receive a hefty $10,000 Early Advancement Award and may qualify for a Berkley fellowship that covers full tuition.

• Advancing Women in Business Scholarship: Established in 2017, the Advancing Women in Business Scholarship suddenly offers a merit-based award to students entering NYU Stern’s Full-time MBA program. Funded by NYU Stern’s Executive Board alum, it covers full tuition and mandatory fees for students who are deeply committed to advancing women.

• Forté Fellowship: Forté Fellowship, awarded in partnership with Forté Foundation, recognizes exceptionally talented female candidates admitted directly to NYU Stern’s MBA program. Fellows receive merit-based scholarships primarily through efforts under various organizations that vigorously promote gender equity in modern business settings. Forté Foundation operates as a collective of big corporations and prestigious business schools that facilitate women’s rapid advancement in business.

• ROMBA Fellowship: The ROMBA Fellowship, awarded in partnership with Reaching Out MBA, recognizes exceptionally gifted LGBTQ+ candidates in NYU Stern’s MBA program. ROMBA Fellows get scholarships based on merit, and they promote opportunities for LGBTQ+ leaders in business. ROMBA dedicates itself to educating LGBTQ+ MBA students at various business schools throughout the United States in profoundly meaningful ways.

• Elizabeth Elting Advancing Women’s Leadership Fellowship: Stern alumna Elizabeth Elting founded Elizabeth Elting Advancing Women’s Leadership Fellowship, which supports women exceptionally in business fields near NYC. Fellowship provides $50,000 yearly, awarded directly to two full-time. It identifies prospects with robust scholastic credentials, leadership experience, and dedication to promoting females within corporate realms. Recipients get chosen upon entering somehow.

• Directors Scholarship: Admitted students who display remarkable talent receive a substantial $50,000 award during their first year of academic pursuit. 

• Community Scholarship: Admitted students who show substantial merit receive a $25,000 scholarship during their inaugural year of study.

Loans 

Domestic Students – Federal and Private Loans

Federal loans are available to U. S. citizens who can apply for private loans through various financial institutions.

• Federal Loans Overview

The U.S. Department of Education offers two types of loans for students: Federal Unsubsidized Loans and Graduate PLUS Loans.

Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after deciding on schools. They should do so as early as possible, no later than May of their intended startup year.

• Graduate PLUS Loans:

• NYU Stern Loan Assistance Program: The NYU Stern Loan Assistance Program assists grads pursuing social enterprise careers with loan repayment since salaries are generally lower.
