Short-answer essay question
What are your post-MBA career goals? Share with us your first-choice career plan and your alternate plan. (100 words maximum)
The classic goals essay has been retained by Fuqua this year as well. Through this essay, the admissions committee is keen to understand your career plans post your MBA so that they can determine if you will be a good fit for the incoming cohort. Try to highlight key skills or experiences that you may have gained in your professional journey and how that will help you achieve your post MBA career plans. Being specific with respect to the industry and function will demonstrate clarity in your thought process, however one key element is to be flexible with your plans, specially if you are an international student since there may be certain factor that maybe beyond your control during the recruitment process. Thinking of certain factors that make Fuqua unique to your professional aspirations can get you additional brownie points in the application process.
25 random things about yourself
The ‘Team Fuqua’ spirit and community is one of the things that sets the MBA experience apart, and it is a concept that extends beyond the student body to include faculty, staff, and administration. Please share with us “25 Random Things” about you. The Admissions Committee wants to get to know YOU – beyond the professional and academic achievements listed in your resume and transcript. Share with us important life experiences, your hobbies, achievements, fun facts, or anything that helps us understand what makes you who you are.
Your list will be limited to 2 pages (750 words maximum). Please present your response in list form, numbered 1 to 25. Some points may be brief, while others may be longer.
The most unique element of the Fuqua application that provides you the opportunity to experiment and showcase your personality. Use this essay to talk about things that are unique to you, they can be your passions, special incidents, your hobbies, interesting encounters or even your value system. This space gives you the opportunity to show what makes you unique and interesting and thus limit any professional and work-related activities.
Don’t just talk about the activity but even mention why it is important to you and how it shapes you to give a glimpse into your personality. Remember there is no right or wrong answer.

Our student-led government, clubs, centers, and events are an integral part of the student culture and to the development of leaders. Based on your understanding of the Fuqua culture, what are 3 ways you expect to contribute at Fuqua? (500 words max)
With this essay, the admission committee wants to check for your cultural fit with the Fuqua community. This space can be utilized to showcase your research into the program and demonstrate your motivation to contribute to the community. Think of 3 specific areas in which you can add value to your Fuqua cohort by keeping in mind your prior experience, skillset and passion. Contribution can range from clubs in which you may want to participate, to undertaking some treks / international immersions during the program. Some may even want to engage in research with their favourite professors while others may want to take an active lead in corporate events on campus. Its important to keep in mind why you want to contribute and what special experiences or learnings you bring to the table that can help you add value.

Note that you should NOT upload additional essays nor additional recommendations in this area. The optional essay should be utilized to explain any gaps in the application. The essay can be left blank by most candidates. Do not utilize this essay to talk about any other achievements or experiences to reiterate your fit for the program.

The application deadlines for the Full-Time MBA Class of 2026 are:
*International applicants should apply in EA, Round 1, and Round 2 for visa processing
** You should apply during Early Action. If you’re admitted, you commit to a binding agreement to attend Fuqua and must withdraw any applications submitted to other schools once you are admitted to Fuqua.
*** Replicants are encouraged to apply in Early Action or Round 1
