Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Yellow Ribbon Program

  • Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefits: requirements include that the participants should have served for at least 90 days of duty after September 10, 2001. Anyone interested can transfer up to 36 months of education benefits to the local VA office.
  • Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP): Yellow Ribbon is about private tuition fees over the amount specified in the VA rules; part funding of up to 100% between the institution and VA.
  • Tuck YRP Support: Open only to veterans! The most flexible enrollment with up to $26,000 financing, even 2024-2025 tuition.

Loan Programs

Direct Unsubsidized Loan

  • For US citizens/Permanent residents, MBA students can borrow $20,500 per year from the U.S. Department of Education at a fixed interest rate of 8.08% for loans disbursed between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.
  • A 1.057% origination fee is charged upon drawdown, and interest starts compounding on the disbursement and is capitalized on repayment.
  • Repayment commences six months after graduation, and the plans take 10 to 25 years.

Direct Graduate Plus Loan

  • Thus, the CoA minus other assistance offered; permanent residents of the United States can borrow, and the fixed interest rate of 9.08% applies to the loans disbursed from July 1, 2024, to July 1, 2025.
  • Before accessing Direct Subsidized loans, applicants must exhaust direct unsubsidized loans while ineligible and have a 4.228% origination fee on the total amount disbursed.
  • Interest begins to accumulate right from the time the loan is disbursed. It becomes repayable six months after graduation, and plans are available for 10- 25 years, depending on the plan selected.

Institutional Loans

Dartmouth Educational Loan Fund (DELF)

  • The options given to students to borrow include credit-based borrowing, which is the total cost of attendance minus other aid for US citizens or permanent residents; there is a fixed interest rate of 9.08% for loans dispersed between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.
  • Applicants must first take out Direct Unsubsidized loans, have no adverse credit history, and pay an origination fee of 4.228%, deducted when the loan is issued.
  • Interest begins accumulating as soon as you apply for a plan. Repayments start half a year after graduation, and plans are available for 10 to 25 years, depending on your chosen plan.

Tuck 5% Loan and Tuck Educational Loan Fund (TELF)

  • Scholastic loan grants are available for borrowers with demonstrated financial need, which friends and alums of the school contribute.
  • Accepted by citizens of the USA, immigrants, and international students by filling in either FAFSA or I-ASA forms. The interest rate during the time of enrollment is complimentary, while for the rest of the time, the rate is fixed at 5% per annum with a yearly compensation of $10000 and a time of three months before having to repay.
