1. Scope of Services
The MBA Edge offers comprehensive support throughout your MBA application journey. Based on the school-specific package selected by you, our services include but are not limited to:
Profile Evaluation and School Selection: We assess your candidacy and recommend suitable business schools aligned with your profile and career aspirations.
Networking: We will tailor your outreach plan for the school community i.e., current students, recent alumni, and admissions team. These are usually short 30min coffee chats that help you establish the initial connection and develop inroads into the school.
Application Essay Support: We provide detailed feedback and guidance to help you craft compelling essays. Our service includes unlimited rounds of review until you are confident with the final submission.
Resume Enhancement: We assist in restructuring and optimizing your resume to effectively showcase your achievements, skills, and experiences relevant to your target business schools.
Letter of Recommendation (LoR) Strategy: We offer strategic guidance on selecting appropriate recommenders and structuring impactful letters of recommendation.
Interview Coaching: We prepare you for business school interviews through personalized mock sessions, constructive feedback, and proven strategies. Please note that interview preparation services are extended only for schools where you have received an interview invitation.
Final University Selection: We provide personalized guidance to help you make the final decision on which university and program to attend from your list of admitted options. This includes analyzing factors such as program strengths, career outcomes, financial considerations, location, culture fit, and long-term goals to help you choose the best option for your unique circumstances.
Scholarship Negotiation Support: We assist you in navigating scholarship negotiations with admissions committees. This includes strategizing your approach, crafting persuasive communication, and providing guidance on how to present additional information or competing offers to potentially improve your financial aid amount.
2. Candidate Obligations
By availing our services, you agree to the following responsibilities:
Accuracy of Information: You must provide complete, accurate, and honest information in all interactions and documents. Any form of misrepresentation or dishonesty will lead to immediate termination of services without any refund.
Adherence to Deadlines: You are solely responsible for tracking and meeting application deadlines. We strongly recommend engaging our services well in advance of submission dates. The MBA Edge shall not be held liable for any late submissions, missed deadlines, or consequences arising thereof.
Communication of Changes: You must immediately notify us of any changes to your academic records, professional background, application plans, or personal circumstances that may affect the consulting process. Timely updates enable us to provide relevant and effective guidance.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
Protection of Client Data: All personal information, documents, essays, and communications shared with The MBA Edge will be kept strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to any external parties without your prior written consent.
Use of Anonymized Information: We reserve the right to use anonymized and aggregated client data for internal analysis, research, and marketing purposes. Client testimonials, success stories, or case studies will only be published with your explicit permission.
4. No Admission Guarantee
The MBA Edge is a professional consulting service designed to enhance your application quality and readiness. However, we explicitly state that we do not guarantee admission to any business school or program. Admission decisions rest entirely with the respective universities and their admissions committees. Your success depends on multiple factors including your profile, effort, and the competitive landscape of the admissions cycle.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All resources, templates, frameworks, feedback documents, and materials created or shared by The MBA Edge are our intellectual property and protected under applicable copyright laws. These materials are provided exclusively for your personal use in your application process. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, sell, or transmit any of our proprietary materials without prior written authorization from The MBA Edge.
6. Payment Terms
Timely Payment: All fees must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule and terms. If payments are not received by the due date, The MBA Edge reserves the right to pause services or cancel your engagement entirely.
Non-Transferability: Payments made are specific to the client who enrolled and cannot be transferred to another individual’s account or application cycle under any circumstances.
7. No-Refund Policy
The MBA Edge operates on a strict no-refund policy for all packages and services. Once you have enrolled and made payment, no refunds will be issued regardless of the reason, including but not limited to change of plans, admission outcomes, dissatisfaction, or withdrawal from the application process.
We strongly encourage prospective clients to carefully evaluate their commitment and requirements before purchasing any package. If you have questions or need clarification about our services, please reach out to our team before enrolling.
8. Termination of Services
The MBA Edge reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately and retain all payments if the client engages in any of the following:
- Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our team members
- Breach of any terms outlined in this agreement
- Dishonesty or misrepresentation of facts
- Misconduct or unethical behavior
In the event of termination initiated by The MBA Edge, no refunds will be provided for services already paid for but not yet delivered.
9. Limitation of Liability
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
What We’re Not Responsible For: The MBA Edge and our team (including founder, employees, and partners) cannot be held responsible for any losses, damages, or negative outcomes that may result from using our services. This includes but is not limited to:
- Rejection from business schools or unsuccessful application outcomes
- Any mistakes, gaps, or inaccuracies in the advice or feedback we provide
- Technical issues, service interruptions, or inability to access our services
- Loss of time, missed opportunities, or financial losses
- Decisions made by business schools or third parties
- Any consequences arising from your use of our guidance and materials
Nature of Our Services: We provide consulting services in their current form without making guarantees about specific results. We do not promise admission outcomes, interview calls, scholarship awards, or any particular results from your applications. Beyond the service descriptions in your package, we make no additional promises or assurances about what our services will achieve.
Your Own Risk: You understand and accept that using our consulting services is entirely your own decision and at your own risk. We are here to guide and support you, but the ultimate responsibility for your applications and their outcomes lies with you.
Legal Limits: In locations where laws do not allow complete limitation of liability, our responsibility will be limited to the maximum extent that local laws permit.
10. Prohibited Activities
You are expressly prohibited from using The MBA Edge’s services, website, or materials for:
- Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances
- Infringing on intellectual property rights of The MBA Edge or any third party
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
